I’ve used this process to build over 80+ high performing, custom websites.
I’ll ask the right questions to uncover the reasons why you need a new online store and exactly what it is you’re trying to achieve. Some of my questions may seem a little uncomfortable and might make you think about things you hadn’t really thought about before, but in doing so we construct a brief that truly delivers the site you want and need.
The fun begins during the design stage when we get to tap into our creative minds to bring your vision to life. We start with low-tech but well thought out wireframes to craft the right experience for your audience and once agreed on, build out the full detail for the key pages using your brand collateral, lifestyle and product photography and content. The result is a tailored online store where you’re proud to send your tribe of customers.
With the designs approved, our team goes underground for a couple of weeks to build out your store. As well as getting deep into the pixels and code, we’ll setup all functionalities and integrate your chosen software like Xero, Vend, Mailchimp, Paypal or your Payment Gateway. When our core work is done, we’ll test the site rigorously to ensure everything looks great across the numerous browsers and devices on the market, then give your team the same opportunity to complete your own rigorous final testing.
I believe in empowering my clients to build their sustained online success and training is an important component of my process. We’ll sit down together (or Skype if you’re outside Melbourne) to walk you through all the major backend features and get you comfy so you’re ready to hit the gas when I hand over the keys.
Finally, the big day has arrived and we hit the go live button and share your brand new store with the world! I make damn sure your favourite beverage is in your hand at this time to toast our journey together, as your investment of time, money and headspace needs to be celebrated.
For peace of mind, you’ll enjoy 5 extra hours of design or development time for changes you require in the 30 days post launch. I have built enough online stores to understand these projects are fluid and sometimes things need to be tweaked, or polished up to be just right. As a courtesy, my sites all come standard with a 30 day warranty to fix any little bugs we both might have missed during the testing phase. If you liked the cut of our jib, there’s also monthly website care plan options you can take advantage of to help you with your continued success.
